The Earth’s Deep Magic having had its feminine components (the egg hidden inside the Serpent Mound) and its masculine components (hidden in a stone on the mound itself and found by the master Scott from the Order of the Serpent Mound) united, the next body of magic had to be balanced.

The Mystical Kingdoms’ Magic (from the fairie-type beings) having been made physical, also needed its masculine components (36) for it to be useful to humans. They were guarded by worm-like beings who gave the following key to retrieve them:
